Grandma says "your hands are your friends, but sometimes they are your enemy", and your bridge hand is no exception. If you are reading this, then I think that hand of yours has been your enemy, or at least your bridge hasn't been winning you games lately. Building a solid bridge requires commitment and dedicated effort, about 3 weeks will get you set in the correct direction. The principle barrier to improving or changing your bridge for the better is the simple fact you will loose pool games. You are relearning how to shoot pool all over again. Your Bridge affects your aim, what shots you can and can't make, and your stance.
By fixing your Bridge automaticly your stance is improved. This overall adjustment will improve how you shoot pool because your stance and your bridge are what's wrong with your game right now. At shoot pool we have manufactured a video outlining the steps involved, most importantly the concepts of what your striving to achieve with your Bridge hand. Every hand is different although the same principles control everybody, if your bridge is unstable and inconstant so is your game. The 3 weeks is mostly consumed with loosing games and strengthening your hand. Your hand isn't stable because your muscular development is small, or your hand is week.

To be master of the shoot pool domain, or even master of your own domain, strengthening your Bridge hand determines your success and overall player skill level. By placing your palm on the table firmly, you have eliminated a few stability issues. With your fingers spread apart as far as they will go, you are eliminating more stability issues. Once your hand is fully in contact with the felt on the table, draw your finger toward your palm, at first this is hard to do because your Bridge hand is weak. Over 3 weeks your hand will strengthen and then you will start winning games again. Slowly you'll start making shots you weren't capable of before and then the enjoyment of winning will be yours.
